Terms and conditions

The legislation of the Republic of Latvia stipulates that the owner of an online store must stipulate the terms of delivery and return of goods, as well as the right of withdrawal. Such a stipulation is called a distance contract

Distance contract

The seller of the goods offered in this Online Store, on the one hand, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other hand, conclude the following Agreement:

The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver the goods to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer's order. All orders are placed using this website, and a correct and correctly executed order can be considered if both parties, the Seller and the Buyer, have received a purchase confirmation e-mail. Orders sent in free form to e-mail are not considered full and correctly executed orders, and are not subject to the Seller's guarantees for order execution deadlines. Information provided by the Buyer during a telephone conversation cannot be considered correctly executed orders, and are not subject to the Seller's guarantees for order execution deadlines. All comments that the Buyer wishes to convey to the Seller regarding the order can be submitted only by forming a purchase on this website and writing them in the designated field or later by sending an e-mail (info@pika.lv) with detailed information and a reference to the previously placed order.

Delivery and payment procedures

The Buyer places an order for goods through this website, indicating the type and quantity of goods to be ordered. The Buyer has the option to pay for the goods using the payment tools built into the Internet tool or by paying upon receipt of the goods.

The Seller ensures the production of goods within 21-28 business days from the receipt of payment for the goods, if the selected payment method is e-payment by credit card / banklink, the delivery time being coordinated with the Buyer. After payment in the system, the order status will be changed to "Paid", after the goods are delivered or removed from the warehouse - the order status will be changed to "Will be fulfilled" and the customer receives a confirmation by e-mail, which serves as a guarantee.

Right of withdrawal

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the goods within 14 calendar days from the moment of receipt of the Goods by sending a letter of withdrawal to the Seller. The Seller shall send the withdrawal letter form to the Buyer by e-mail upon the Buyer's request.

The Buyer is obliged to return the goods to the Seller within 7 days after sending the letter of withdrawal. All expenses incurred in connection with sending the goods back to the Seller shall be borne by the Buyer. When returning the goods, no discount may be applied to the delivery costs and all related costs shall be borne by the Buyer in full.

The Buyer may not exercise the right of withdrawal if:

• the ordered goods cannot be returned due to their nature, or they are perishable or quickly expendable;
• the ordered goods are made specifically for the Buyer according to an individual order;
• (coloring, engraving, individual design, custom sizes)
• The mattress's factory packaging, which guarantees hygiene and cleanliness requirements, has been opened and the mattress has been used without the factory PVC protector.

Article 12, Part 6 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia states that "the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the product during the period of exercising the right of withdrawal". The Seller reserves the right to refuse the Buyer to exercise the right of withdrawal or to withhold compensation in the event that the product is damaged, due to careless handling of the product during use or failure to follow the instructions, if the original packaging of the product has been lost or thrown away, or if its packaging is significantly damaged.

Data processing

By entering the required information when placing an order, the Buyer confirms that he has read and agrees that the data provided by him is used so that the Seller can accept the Buyer's order and deliver the goods in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Latvia. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees that notifications related to the processing of the Buyer's order will be sent to the specified e-mail address.
